PURE Residential Retreat
A private four-suite villa in Palomino, booked direct — no platform, no middleman

PURE Residential Retreat is a private four-suite villa in Palomino, Colombia, where the Sierra Nevada drops into the Caribbean — a sold Lux Haven listing, relaunched by its owner as a luxury rental. We built it a cinematic, enquiry-only site — an 80-second film, drone aerials, and real vacation-rental SEO — designed to book guests directly and keep the villa out of the booking-platform machine entirely.
The Brief
The "Palomino Private Sanctuary" had sold — it is still shown as sold on the Lux Haven Collection site. Its owner wanted to give the villa a second life as a private luxury rental, and to book it directly: no listing on a booking platform, no commission skimmed from every stay, and no public nightly rate racing to the bottom against a hundred other rooms.
The site had to feel like the villa itself — hidden, serene, one-of-one — and turn a curious browser into a direct enquiry. It also had to stand entirely on its own, with a coastal identity distinct from the Lux Haven brand.
The Challenge
A single villa on a booking platform is a commodity — one tile among thousands, judged on price and star count, with the platform taking a cut of every night. Escaping that means the site has to do the persuading a listing page never can: convey the feeling of the place, and earn enough trust for someone to book a high-value stay directly.
It also had to be findable by the exact person searching for "a villa in Palomino" rather than "a room for the weekend" — which is a technical-SEO problem, not just a design one — all while looking like nowhere else, including Lux Haven.
Our Approach
We built an enquiry-only landing site with a coastal identity all its own — jungle green, travertine sand, and lagoon turquoise, deliberately nothing like a listings portal or the Lux Haven navy. The story is told cinematically: an 80-second film with real sound and a set of drone aerials do the emotional work a photo grid cannot.
Underneath the mood, we engineered the SEO — a front-loaded, keyworded title, VacationRental and FAQ structured data, an image sitemap, and a WhatsApp-safe share card — so the page can be found on its own merits. Booking is direct, by WhatsApp and email; there is no nightly price and no platform link, by design.
What We Built
A cinematic, enquiry-only one-page site built to sell a feeling and then get out of the way.
- A one-page villa site — hero film, drone aerials, the villa, its four suites, experiences, and Palomino
- An 80-second vertical film with real sound, plus a curated set of drone aerials, as the emotional centerpiece
- Vacation-rental technical SEO — VacationRental and FAQPage structured data, an image sitemap, and a WhatsApp-safe Open Graph card
- A direct-booking flow over WhatsApp and email, with no public nightly rate and no booking-platform link
- A distinct coastal brand identity with self-hosted variable fonts for speed, launched live on its own .co domain
Why It Works
A single luxury villa cannot win as a line item on someone else's platform — so this site refuses to be one. It sells the feeling first, earns trust with cinematic proof, and is built to be found by the right guest.
Then it hands that guest a direct, personal way to book. The owner keeps the relationship, the margin, and control of the story — which is exactly what a platform listing quietly takes away.
It sells the feeling, then removes the middleman — guests book the villa directly, and the owner keeps the relationship, the margin, and the story.
