Mama Juice BK

Real Trinidadian juice from Brooklyn, made craveable online

Mama Juice BK website

Mama Juice BK bottles all-natural Trinidadian juices and non-dairy punches, made fresh in Brooklyn. We gave a from-scratch food brand an appetite-first single-page site — one that shows off all eleven flavors, states one honest price, and makes ordering as simple as sending a text. It is built mobile-first, because that is where a hungry customer actually decides.

The Brief

Mama makes real Trini juice in Brooklyn — Mauby, Sorrel, Peanut Punch, Seamoss, Soursop and more — all-natural, with no shortcuts. She needed a proper home online: somewhere to send customers from Instagram and word of mouth that looked as good as the product tastes and made ordering effortless. No sprawling e-commerce build, no monthly platform fees — just a site that sells.

The brand had a clear voice from day one — "Trinidad born, Brooklyn made," made fresh by Mama herself. The job was to give that voice a face online without diluting a drop of it.

The Challenge

A small, independent food brand lives under two hard constraints at once. It has to look craveable — appetite is an emotion, and a flat list of flavors does not trigger it — and it has to make buying dead simple, without the cost and overhead of a full online store the business does not need yet.

And it had to feel like Mama Juice and nothing else. The fastest way to kill a food brand's personality is to pour it into a generic template — so a distinct, ownable identity was not a nice-to-have, it was the point.

Our Approach

We built a bold, warm, single-page site with a Caribbean-Brooklyn character all its own — big, mouthwatering typography, real product front and center, and a tropical color story that never tips into cliché. Every flavor gets its moment.

Clarity does a lot of the selling. Eleven flavors, one honest $8 price — no math, no hesitation. And we matched the ordering to how the business actually runs: a one-tap text-to-order and Zelle, right where the craving hits, instead of forcing a checkout the brand does not need.

What We Built

A responsive, mobile-first single-page site — because a hungry customer is almost always on their phone.

  • A one-page site with a hero, the full flavor lineup, a clear how-to-order, and contact
  • The complete 11-flavor menu — Mauby, Sorrel, Peanut Punch, Seamoss, Soursop and more — at one honest $8 price
  • A frictionless text-to-order and Zelle flow, so an order takes seconds from a phone
  • A distinct brand identity — logo, type, and a tropical palette that is Mama Juice's own
  • Technical SEO and Open Graph so the site shares cleanly from Instagram and search
  • Launched live on its own domain, mamajuicebk.com

Why It Works

The design does the selling — it makes the juice look as fresh as it is — and the ordering gets out of the way. By meeting customers where they already are, with a quick text instead of a checkout they would have to learn, the site removes the exact friction that usually costs a small food brand the sale.

It looks like a real brand and runs like a neighborhood one. That combination — craveable on the surface, effortless underneath — is what turns a curious scroll into an $8 order.

Appetite is the pitch, and a text is the checkout — the site makes the juice look as fresh as it is, then gets out of the way.
